There is one form of medicine that can help reverse these effects. The good news is that it's free, can and usually should be taken daily and has many beneficial side effects. That medicine is exercise.
The President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition estimates that less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day, and only one in three receives the recommended weekly amount of activity.
At the CHS next Marquette Presents breakfast forum, you'll hear from experts in exercise physiology and physical therapy who will address the benefits of a consistent exercise regimen and how staying active can equate to staying healthy.
